30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 30 Favorite Fight of All Time
Wanderlei Silva vs. Quinton Jackson 2
I love everything about this match.
30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 29 Least Favorite Fight of all time
Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock Ortiz vs. Shamrock 3 - The Final Chapter
To me, this match was unnecessary. Their first encounter was epic and helped establish a new age for the UFC. Their second match was, according to Shamrock , stopped prematurely by Herb Dean (who would later be recognized as one of MMA’s best referees). In this fight, it same result - Ortiz dominating Shamrock within the first two minutes of the match.
After this fight, Shamrock would announce his retirement, which lasted about a year and a half. The only positive that came from this fight, was the 4.3 ratings the broadcast received in the main event.
30 Day Mixed Martial Arts Challenge: Day 28 One fighter you would like to meet
Aside from my obvious favorites (Wanderlei, Rampage, Carano, Couture, Machida) I would want to meet former Strikeforce Women’s Welterweight champion Sarah Kaufman
Although she isn’t my favorite fighter, we’ve sort of corresponded on facebook. And by “sort of corresponded” I mean I’m one of those hundreds of fans who comment on her status and her reactions she posts when she’s watching a fighting event. I even had the guts to make fun of her when she made a reference to Wii Sports. It was all in good fun, but I have a feeling I would have to back up my Wii Bowling skills.

30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 27 A future event you would like to go to.
UFC 134: Rio
Silva vs. Okami, Shogun vs. Griffin 2, Nogueira vs. Shcaub. This event is shaping up to be a big one.

30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 26 Favorite MMA photo
There a lot of great action photos of mixed martial arts. They tell stories of photos who are going through pain, victory, or defeat.
This photo of Gina Carano brought questions or whether or not she was coming back to mixed martial arts. Some skeptics even said,” Oh, she’s just training. It’s nothing important.”
It wasn’t until Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Silva” that Carano announced her return to MMA. She will be fighting in June at the “Overeem vs. Wedrum” Strikeforce event.
30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 25 Favorite fighter quote/trash talking
If we are talking mixed martial artists, my favorite quote would be this one:
I will never underestimate my opponents. I always want to feel like the guy that I’m fighting is the most dangerous guy that I’ve fought in my entire career. And that’s how I’ll take every one of my fights. - Georges St. Pierre
Now if we’re talking in terms of overall fighters (boxing, kickboxing, etc).
Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali
30 Day Mixed Martial Arts Challenge: Day 24 A fighter who you’d want to have your back in a bar fight.
My choice would have to be former UFC Heavyweight Champion Bas Rutten. He even has a DVD of street fighting tips.
30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 23 A fighter you would like to see in a movie

Bro Cop and Cro Cop
A buddy cop comedy starring Mirko Filipovic and UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 22 Most Overrated Fighter
All in all, Alves’ real claim to fame in the UFC is having victories over Josh Koshcheck and Chris Lytle, as well as knocking out Matt Hughes.
Not the Matt Hughes who had successfully defending the welterweight title five times in his first title reign, or the Matt Hughes who defeated Georges St. Pierre and defended the welterweight title twice and beat Royce Gracie.
Alves had defeated a Matt Hughes who had just lost the welterweight title to St. Pierre. He eventually received a title shot against St. Pierre at UFC 100. However, Alves would be dominated pretty much the entire fight.
Alves is scheduled to fight Rick Story at UFC 130.

30 Day MMA Challenge: Day 21 Most underrated Fighter
My vote for this goes to Light Heavyweight/Middleweight fighter Gerard Mousassi. Despite winning not one, but two DREAM Grand Prixs (2008 Middleweight, 2010 Light Heavyweight), Mousassi is not rated amongst the top ten pound for pound fighters in the world.
Mousassi has a record of 30-3-2, with wins over Renalto Sobral, former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion, Ronaldo Souza, the current Strikeforce middleweight champion.
In his last fight, he scored a majority draw with Keith Jardine, back in April
