My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.

2012 Combat Sports Resolution: MMA fight #6 Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal vs. Lorenz Larkin at Strikeforce: Jardine vs. Rockhold
The classic match-up between the veteran (Lawal) and the up-and-comer (Larkin). Although he came into the fight undefeated, Larkin had yet to face an opponent the calibur of Lawal.
Lawal, who is slowly climbing back up the Strikeforce 205 pound division, used his power and wrestling to dominate the fight, getting a TKO in the second round. However after failing a post-fight drug test, the decision was overturned to a No contest.
