My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.
I also post quotes and other stuff.
2012 Combat Sports Resolution: Kickboxing match #2 Pete Spratt vs. Mike Zambidis at A-1 World Combat Cup 2004, Quarter Finals
The match had Spratt and Zambidis pacing each other with sold mild striking. Spratt was able to land some kicks, evantually getting a knock down on Zambidis. However Zambidis responded eith a knockdown of his own. Zambidis then threw an uppercutt and an illegal knee.
In the closing moments of the fight, Zambidis was able to get the TKO after a landing punching and kicking combination Spratt.
