My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.

2012 Combat Sports Resolution: MMA fight #4: Bibiliano Fernandes vs. Joachim Hansen for Dream Featherweight championship at Dream 13
The Flash vs. Hellboy. Nicknames and comic book references aside, this bout between Fernandes and Hansen was a close one, particularly in the stand up.
However, Fernandes was able to successfully take Hansen down a few times, only for Hansen to get up. In the end, Fernades came away with the split decision.
