My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.

2012 Combat Sports Resolution: MMA fight #1 Genki Sudo vs. Butterbean
Taking place at K-1 Premium 2003 Dynamite!, Sudo took on Eric “Butterbean” Esch in a crowd attraction. Like most crowd-pleaser bouts, Sudo easily got the win.
After running around the ring for much of the first round, he was able to take down Butterbean. In the second round he took him down once again and submitted him.
This isn’t against the fight, but the thing I enjoyed most about this match was Sudo’s entrance of coming out to “Wild Thing” dressed as Rick Vaughn from the Major League movies.
