My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.
I also post quotes and other stuff.
2012 Combat Sports Resolution: Jim Braddock vs. Joe Louis
If you have seen Cinderella Man, then this would be the fight after Braddock won the title from Max Bear. Braddock was able to knock Louis down in the first round, however Louis scored a hard knock out in the eighth, becoming the heavyweight champion of the world.
