My name is Al Stover and I am the Sports Editor of the Easterner newspaper. I am a journalism major and a fiction writer, who has written anything from dragons flying in the sky, to cage fighting. My dream is to work at a major magazine or newspaper and to become a best selling author.
I am a fan of MMA, boxing, kick boxing, and even pro wrestling. I write and post about anything that involves combat and fighters, including comic book superheroes and villians, because those guys and gals are fighters in their own right.

2012 Combat Sports Resolution: Mark Hunt vs. Fancisco Filho
This was a few years before Mark Hunt entered mixed martial arts. The final of the 2001 K-1 Grand Prix had Hunt against Francico Filho. Hunt was ahead at the beginning of the fight, on points, however Filho seemed to gain momentum later in the bout. The referees called it a draw and ordered an extra round, which Hunt continued his aggressive punching, thus winning the fight.
