trishypoo asked: I don't know many men who actually like supernatural. Love it!
I started watching it over the summer and I’ve enjoyed it.
It’s premise has to do with the paranormal, which is something I’m interested in. It also is well researched and diverse. Sure Sam and Dean go up against demons a lot, but they also fight wendigos and other creatures. The show also doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Another reason are the characters. I wouldn’t think of Sam and Dean as average guys who are the story for paranormal shows. They’re not morally challenged vampires or jealous werewolves. (Sorry for those Twilight fans out there). They are just regular dudes who wake up, eat at a diner, kill monsters and have beer afterwards.
Dean has become one of my favorite characters because he is not Edward or Bill. He is Dean. He has a good heart, but he’s also an average guy.
Then there’s Bobby. You wouldn’t see Bobby on a paranormal themed show unless he was the mean dad of the female protagonist, or someone who gets killed off easily.
